1. Introduction
Bizo is a business management application designed to help small businesses manage inventory, billing, customers, suppliers, team access, subscriptions, and online catalogue orders. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use the Bizo mobile app, admin panel, backend services, and public catalogue website.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information, such as phone number, email address, and authentication-related details.
- Business information, such as business name, profile details, tax settings, subscription status, and payment-related business details provided by the user, including bank name, account holder name, account number, IFSC code, and UPI ID for invoice and payment display purposes.
- Operational data, such as items, invoices, purchase bills, customers, suppliers, team members, ledger entries, and reports.
- Public catalogue order information, such as customer name, phone number, address, state, and order details when a customer places an order through the online catalogue.
- Microphone access for the Voice to Invoice feature. Audio input is used on-device to convert speech into invoice entry data. Bizo does not store or share raw microphone audio on its own servers for this feature.
- Device and technical information required for app functionality, notifications, security, and diagnostics.
- Push notification token data for order and account-related notifications.
3. How We Use Information
- Create and manage user accounts and business access.
- Provide business management features such as inventory, invoicing, order management, reporting, and team access.
- Process subscriptions, plan limits, and entitlement checks.
- Enable MiniCommerce/public catalogue features and process online orders.
- Display business payment details such as bank account information and UPI ID on invoices when provided by the user.
- Enable voice-based invoice entry through the Voice to Invoice feature.
- Send push notifications related to orders, subscriptions, and administrative alerts.
- Maintain service security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
- Provide customer support and resolve technical issues.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
We may share data only when necessary with service providers and infrastructure platforms that help operate Bizo, such as hosting, authentication, database, notification, and payment-related services. Data may also be processed when required by law, legal process, or to protect the security and integrity of the platform.
For Voice to Invoice, Bizo does not store or share raw microphone audio on its own servers. Speech recognition may rely on operating system or platform speech services available on the user's device.
5. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Data is stored and processed using third-party infrastructure and cloud services that support the operation of the Bizo platform. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. User Rights
Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their account-related information, subject to legal and operational requirements. Users may also choose to delete their business or account from within the application where such functionality is available. 7. Children’s Privacy
Bizo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
8. How to Delete Your Account
You can request deletion of your Bizo account directly from within the app.
- Open the Bizo app and sign in to your account.
- Open the side menu and tap Delete Account.
- Enter your account email address for confirmation.
- Verify the one-time code sent to your email address.
- Confirm the deletion request to permanently delete your account.
When your deletion request is completed, your Bizo account and associated in-app data linked to that account are deleted from active use, including owned business data, subscriptions stored in Bizo, saved push notification tokens, and related profile or membership records managed by Bizo.
Deleting your Bizo account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. If you subscribed through Google Play, you must manage or cancel that subscription separately in the Google Play subscription settings.
Certain limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or operational integrity, as permitted by applicable law.
